Head Tennis Professional
I'm very excited to be starting my second season as the Head Tennis Professional at the Davisville Tennis Club. I'm looking forward to contributing my on and off court tennis expertise to help develop Davisville as one of the premiere community clubs in the city.
A little about myself, professionally: Last summer I added to my 3 Tennis Canada certifications by passing the Club Professional 2 course, making me the youngest certified CP2 in the country. In 2009, I was granted Tennis Professional status by the United States Professional Tennis Registry. The past three years, I have been honored to have the chance to work with some of the best coaches in Canada, assisting with the development of the Under 9 & Under 10 National Training Centre program. This winter, I am keeping busy working at two of Toronto's premier private clubs, The Boulevard Club and the Badminton & Racquet Club. I am always excited to attending professional development seminars. This past winter I attended the Tennis Professional Association conference held at the Rexall Centre. In the winter of 2009 I attended a week long workshop help by Professional Tennis Registry in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the largest tennis coaching conference in the world. Last and certainly not least, I am thrilled to be a part of a non-profit organization called Tennis in the City, dedicated to building more winter tennis facilities in the greater Toronto area. Our goal is to make winter tennis more accessible and affordable to all Canadian tennis enthusiasts!
I'm looking forward to seeing many new and many familiar faces in 2011! I can't wait to get back on courts and please don’t hesitate to ask how my staff and I can help you in any aspect of your game whether it be as a junior, any level of adult or high performance related!
