Saturday June 6 will be a day to have fun and make a difference in the life of someone else
This year's theme is "Battle of the Bands"! Your team captain will give you further instructions
on your teams' costumes for the day. This year the teams will represent different music themes -
Rock, 60's Folk, 70's Surf Music, Hip Hop, Reggae and 80's Pop.
The Doug Philpott Inner City Children's Tennis as the recipient of the
event proceeds. This organization runs free tennis camps for inner-city children in 9 of
Toronto's neighbourhoods where youth programming is needed. Their mission is to promote health,
physical and moral well-being among needy or disadvantaged inner-city children by providing
skills development programs.
All you have to do is raise a minimum of $50 through the collection of pledges, to participate in this
charity event. Ask your family, friends, co-workers, fellow tennis members to support you and DTC to
make a difference in child's life this summer. Every $25 allows us to send a child to tennis camp!
