DTC Opening Day and all other club activities postponed indefinitely

Due to COVID-19 and its effects, Davisville will not be able to go ahead with its planned Opening Day, and we cannot yet reasonably consider an alternative date.

This affects all aspects of the club, including league team tryouts and program registrations, which were scheduled to open soon.

The Davisville board of directors is carefully monitoring events, and will continue to meet frequently (virtually). Please keep watching here, in your in-box and on Facebook for updates, as events allow. Stay well, everyone.

We had all been eagerly anticipating the start of Davisville’s 2020 season.
The City of Toronto had previously suspended all tennis club permits through April 6. Now, the city has clamped down even further, shutting all park amenities, including tennis courts, as part of the effort to stop group gatherings and halt the spread of COVID-19.

We are sorry that we cannot be more specific now, but hope that will be possible in coming weeks.

We hope that you are all safe and well, and following the guidelines to combat the novel coronavirus  to help us all return to more normal lives.
