After the AGM: new board member and motion results

Thanks to all DTC members who turned out for our annual general meeting.  For those who were not able to make it  to the meeting, we have a new board member and motion results. 

MOTION 1: Lifetime membership
That Tony Sekvenc posthumously be made an honorary lifetime member of Davisville Tennis Club.

MOTION 2: 5.0 OTA Tournament
That Davisville Tennis Club hosts the 5.0 OTA tournament not more than every other year.

MOTION 3: Minimum age for the Masters Tournaments
That the minimum age to compete in the Masters Tournaments be set at 45 years for both men and women.

That Davisville add an ICTA Mixed C team.

That men and women can only play in their own gender categories.

There was also one change to our board. Membership director Peter Cooney has decided to leave the board for personal reasons. In his place, we welcome Eric Davidson as the new membership director.
We thank Pete for all of his hard work in the role.
All other board members will continue to serve in the roles they held this season. Stuart Teather remains president, Ashli MacInnis stays on as vice-president, Sarah Rogers will continue as secretary, Simon Kantor remains treasurer, Gene Parker continues as teams and tournaments director, Damian Chanremains social director, Nina Sampaleanu continues overseeing player development, Colin Sampaleanu remains overseeing IT, and Terry Brodie continues as communications director.
